Re(3): Dermatomyositis
Our position is that all viral diseases are completely curable. Even the said incurable disease like HIV, now has a possible cure with the recent of identification of TRIM5alpha protein.
We consider EBV very repressable through treatment. However, we cannot suggest a complete cure yet because it has not been tested through clinical studies. EBV is a member of human gamma herpesvirus family that stays in the cells of body immune system like HIV. Once the virus has been contracted, the current medical science suggests that it remains in the body for life.
The terms of "complete cure" means sustained viral response (no detectable virus in the blood). If someone remains virus free for a year, they are considered to have been completely cured. Also, most doctors nowadays consider someone to be fully cured only if they have no detectable virus in their blood five years following the end of the treatment. If the virus is not in the blood, it cannot come back.
Repressing means inhibiting the replication by taking away the ability of the virus to relapse and to cause symptoms again. Therefore, someone with EBV can live without symptoms with normal human life span, just as normal as healthy people. People who have been infected with EBV will carry the virus for the rest of their lifes, even if they never have any signs or symptoms. Treatment with our pads can easily alleviate the symptoms (inflammation, rash, chronic fatigue, fever, sore throat, swollen lymph glands), reduce the degree of the infectiousness (ability to infect others) and the risk of developing other diseases such as lymphoma and carcinoma.
All the best,
Kenrico Support
