Fluoride is the ion of fluorine and usually can be found in tap water. You are absolutely correct in getting this chemical removed from your household water. Consuming too much fluoride (fluoride overdose) can cause nausea, vomiting blood, diarrhea, stomach pain, salivation, watery eyes, shallow breathing and tiredness.
