Dear Kenrico Support,

Thank you for your response and I appreciate your opinion as well. However, there should be at least one thing that we can agree upon:

A footpad is in NO WAY a substitute for an in-office exam and/or an alcohol treatment program.

If your team consists of the professionals that you claim, it is profoundly negligent to omit these factors from your response. The reason why footpads have come under such scrutiny by both the press and FDA is because of extremely generalized claims without double-blind, independent clinical trials. Doing an e-mail diagnosis for a serious illness simply justifies further suspicion; even in the minds of those who are very receptive to alternate medicine. I know it does for me and that's significant because Kenrico is my footpad of choice (I'm wearing them as I type this.)

There is no shame in making a mistake or over-reaching on rare occasions. The important thing is to resource greater prudence and restraint the next time around. People with serious illnesses or chronic conditions are vulnerable and sometimes desperate for relief.
How we deal with them is mandated by the Hippocratic Oath; do no harm.
