lime in water

Hi,

I live in a small town in Minnesota and our water here has lime scale deposit which is really bad, you can visibly see it coming out from the water, would the shower head filter out lime scale deposit in our water? I have an Aquasana shower filter and already called the distributor but they said that their shower filter wouldn't filter out lime deposit.
