Only left pad gets very dark

I have been using detox pads for 7 nights,
reversing feet. Only my left foot pad gets very
dirty...mostly on the outer part of my foot....On
the right foot, I find the pad is only mildy darkened...The left pad is wet looking and very
soiled.

Any explanations?
