There are some uncertainty and contradictory studies about Resveratrol, which is somewhat similar to the banned substance such as Ephedra. Ephedra has been reported to cause serious, even fatal, side effects such as heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeats, and sudden death. In one study, researchers found that Resveratrol stimulates the growth of breast cancer cells. On the contrary, in other study, researcher found that it inhibits the growth of liver cancer. Because there is a safety concern due to the risk of developing breast cancer, particularly for females, it is best to avoid taking Resveratrol. Please consult directly to your physician prior to taking Resveratrol.

The plant derived for Resveratrol also contains a lot of oxalic acid. Oxalic acid can cause conditions such as arthritis, kidney stones and gout.

The special edition (CCi) pads, blue edition (FX-2) and soothing edition (Aqua Cool TUV) have significantly better healing properties without the risk of adverse reaction. CCi pad contains a lot of EGCG. EGCG has been proven to assist cancer treatment and to reduce developing cancer. The FX-2 contains a lot of antiseptic properties that have been found very effective for eliminating pathogens such as dangerous bacterias and fungi in our body.
