We believe heavy metals poisoning and pit tumor are the source of the health complications. Exposure to heavy metals can lead to increase cancer and tumor rates such as brain tumor. Pit tumor is a type of brain tumor (pituitary gland) and may have affected thyroid function causing thyroid disease that started from graves to hashimoto's thyroiditis.
