Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and Chemo

Posted on May 24, 2019 at 04:22:41 AM by Sunn33
Hello Kenrico Team!

A friend has diffuse large B-cell lymphoma involving one kidney. He is taking the R-CHOP chemo cocktail, one every 3 weeks for a total of 6 treatments. He also takes Lisinopril for hypertension and Naturthroid for hypothyroidism.

They expect a complete 'cure' but are saying that after the chemo is complete that he might need to have radiation to eliminate 'dead tissue'. He is taking systemic enzymes.

Initial viewing of a PET scan done this past Monday after the first 2 chemo treatments show that the mass is no longer there but he is waiting for the actual results as read by the radiologist. It will be available in 2-3 days.

What protocol do you suggest to deal with the lymphomas and the chemo toxins?

Thank you!!!
