Hi there,
You can find the product information of Mini Water Filter MI-6 at the following page https://www.kenrico.com/cure/mini.html.
It is made to remove particulates, chemical contaminants, and radioactive contaminants such as Cesium. It does not soften hard water. For that purpose, you must combine the use with the Ion Water Purifier GOLD or SILVER.
