Re(1): toxicity of Titanium in Adhesive Pads

Posted on September 1, 2015 at 09:02:58 PM by KenricoCare
Hi Nirukt,

Titanium is completely inert and immune to corrosion by all body fluids and tissue, and is thus wholly bio-compatible. Inert in chemistry means not chemically reactive. You cannot absorb Titanium from using our Carbon Titanium CT even if you ingest the whole adhesive.

Because of these characteristics, Titanium is used in medical devices such as cardiovascular devices (pacemaker, defibrillators), maxillofacial and craniofacial treatments, bone and joint replacement, prostheses, surgical instruments, etc.

Our Carbon Titanium CT uses high-grade Titanium from Japan. You can expect the best quality and result from using our adhesives.

All the best,
KenricoCare
