In an experimental study, we randomly assigned 60 female Balb/black mice, which had developed spontaneous hair loss on the head, neck and dorsal areas into two equal groups; A (experimental) and B (control). Group A received 50% fraction of polyphenol extract from dehydrated green tea in their drinking water for six months. Group B received regular drinking water. Both groups were fed regular rodent diets (Purina Rodent Chow 5001) and housed individually in polycarbonate cages. The results showed that 33% of the mice in experimental Group A, who received polyphenol extract in their drinking water, had significant hair regrowth during six months of treatment (p = 0.014). No hair growth was observed among mice in the control group, which received regular water." What causes too much lgE in the body? - Environmental exposure to ticks and insects, and there's increasing evidence that this type of exposure determines a child's likelihood of developing an illness early in life. It was initially discovered that lgE protects us against parasites, mites, ticks and bed bugs. When a person is bitten by a tick, his or her body releases the IgE antibody, which in turn, kills the tick. Researchers have found that the key to preventing allergies is to reduce the amount of IgE in the body's system. | What do sap sheets contain? Each sap sheet made by Kenrico contains a specific blend of ingredients, all of the highest possible grades available. The brain and heart are not the only important parts of the body - although you might find it impossible to function without them - but it is in fact the feet that reign supreme. Despite
being aware of this many people pay little or no attention to their feet. Sure, they wash them and clip toe nails when requires, but there is so much more to the humble foot that we should all be educated at a young age as to the benefits of good
foot health. There is a saying that you should always buy a good bed and comfortable shoes because if you are not in one you are in the other. There is more truth in that one saying than any other as it is based on truth; if you are not in bed you are up and wearing footwear. Why then, do we buy ill-fitting shoes only to complain when our feet ache and have blisters on them? It is no coincidence that when our feet hurt we feel low and irritable. Think about it, if the eyes are the window to the soul then surely sole of the foot is the gateway to good health and should be treated with respect. The sole of the foot contains more nerve endings than any other part of the body and each nerve is connected to a part of the body and mind. By manipulating certain points on the foot corresponding parts of the body can feel rejuvenated and/or the mind refreshed. For instance, if you press on a certain point just under the big toe you can improve the health of patients suffering from illnesses involving the thyroid and parathyroid glands. | LOWER CHOLESTEROL WHILE YOU SLEEP As a veteran of talk radio (with a focus on healing), I am always looking for natural, alternative remedies that can help us help ourselves. Like millions of people who receive bad news from their doctor each year, I recently learned that my cholesterol is over 200. My LDL level (bad cholesterol) is high, and my HDL level (good cholesterol) is low. The result is arteriosclerosis, a condition that could be fatal, if left unattended. Impact of High Cholesterol TV commercials (promoting cholesterol-reducing medications) show red blood cells traveling slowly through a very narrow artery. The threat? If too many of those cells stick to each other, the artery could become blocked. If that artery leads to your heart, you could have a heart attack. If it leads to your brain, you could have a stroke. | Detox pads These pads (manufactured in Japan) are applied to the same reflex points that are used in foot reflexology. Wear them while you sleep and they warm the feet with a combination of herbs and infrared therapy. | Each participant was instructed to wear four detox pads per day (one pad on the bottom of each foot for 7-9 hours during the day, and one pad on the bottom of
each foot for 7-9 hours during sleep at night). After two weeks of daily application, another fasting blood sample was drawn. The results of the clinical trial showed evidence that the green tea detox pads significantly
reduced LDL-cholesterol levels and triglycerides. One participant was a 45-year-old female who showed a 22 mg/dl decrease in LDL cholesterol and a 37 mg/dl decrease in Triglycerides in just two weeks. Think about the implication of these findings: We now have another choice: We can use these green tea detox pads to reduce our cholesterol at night, and actually "see" the results the next morning. I'm excited about trying the new green tea pads and I'm relieved to know that they are made with the highest quality ingredients and have been clinically tested for safety.
