Copper

Posted on September 10, 2006 at 12:45:43 PM by M Richards
My son was found to have a very high copper toxicity level (8.00)with a low zinc/copper ratio of 1.13/1 in a recent hair anaylisis test. This test was sent to a lap by his eye doctor. He also suffers from vision problems- amblyoplia, stubismus 20 degree vison field etc..., focusing and concentration problems- which affects his learning ability (reading and writing) and bedwetting (he's almost 8). I am told that high copper levels can cause some of these symptoms. Concerned with these tests, I asked his pediatric doctor to do blood work to check his copper. It came back in the normal range. Now I don't know what to think or who to believe.
To your knowlege can excessive copper cause these symptoms? and Could your patches help his conditions? If so, which one(s) should we be using?
Thank you in advance for your recomendation.
