Hi there,
Although there are many benefits of chitosan (it is highly effective for treating high cholesterol, obesity, insomnia, tooth inflammation and cavities including a more serious condition such as kidney failure, anemia, chron's disease), the use of chitosan derived from shellfish in our patches is very limited to selected patches only. Instead of chitosan derived from shellfish, we commonly use mushroom chitosan for our patches. Our mushroom chitosan is a chitosan derived from vegetable source (edible mushroom) that has been certified organic.
Mushroom chitosan does not cause shellfish allergies and is far more superior than shellfish chitosan.
Please refer to the ingredient list on the label and consult directly to your supplier prior to use. Additionally, you can also refer to the prescribing information.
