Obstructive Jaundice

Posted on June 17, 2022 at 09:14:35 PM by Isabel
Dear Kenrico,
May I request please a protocol for someone with an initial finding of Obstructive Jaundice who underwent endoscopy with a biopsy done on the common bile duct and a biliary stent was put in place and developed pancreatitis the following day after the procedure was done in which she eventually was admitted in the hospital for a few days for hydration due to inability to take anything in and being treated with antibiotics.
Currently, she seems to be improving color-wise. Bilirubin count is decreasing slowly back to normal. Biopsy results are not due until 2 weeks. But I think a DETOX protocol would be ideal while waiting for the results. PLEASE ADVISE. Thanks in advance.
