Hi Glen,
The upper portion of the bottom of the feet according to the foot reflexology chart directly affects three organs of the body which are brain stem, cerebellum, head during the treatment.
If the treatment requires placement for the head only, the corresponding area (top of toes) will be prescribed clearly in the schedule. However, considering that the upper section of bottom of the feet relates to more than just one organ (its three organs with interconnected nerves), it is highly advantageous for health to apply the treatment directly at this location.
