Stage 2 Rectal Cancer/Chemo/Radiation

I was diagnosed with stage 2 rectal cancer this week. I begin chemotherapy & radiation treatments next week in an attempt to shrink the 10 cm tumor before surgery. What type of pad do you recommend for the cancer & for easing side effects from the chemo/radiation? Where would be the most effective area to place the pads?
