Stiff, rigid Zeo pad in AM

My Super Zeo pads were stiff and rigid in the interior portion of the pads this morning when I took them off. There was some of the characteristic "gooey" areas on the perimeter of the pads and a little in the interior. This has never happened before. I am using carbon titanium adhesives, and also a pair of socks overnight because the adhesives aren't sticking as well as the white ones. If it's useful information, I have not been using the pads consistently over a long period of time. Grateful for any explanation or guidance you can provide.
