Foot pain after fracture, Perennial Allergy

Posted on September 5, 2013 at 04:26:55 AM by Niros
Hello,

I am a 32-year-old man, 1.81m and 73kg (5 ft 11", 160 pounds), I am usually healthy, I have Mediterranean diet, and I drink a glass of wine once a week, I do not smoke.

There are two issues concerning me:

1. Fracture in my foot:
Six months ago, I had a motorcycle accident and broke my left foot (broke the Talus bone), I had cast for 11 weeks and walked with crutches – it was forbidden to put pressure on the foot.
Since then I recovered, had physiotherapy, and now I am walking again, but I still have a constant pain in my foot, I also lost some of the movement range and there is pain when I am stepping on an uneven surface (like in the garden or in the nature). Also, there is a small cyst shown on the last CT scan – the doctor said it is insignificant (but I think it is important to mention it).

2. Perennial Allergy:
I have allergies to cats and to olive-tree blossom, it is usually hard for me to breath from my nose and last winter I had Sinusitis when I was exposed to a cat, I sometimes use a nasal spray (Avamys - Fluticasone furoate).
The doctors recommended me to have a surgery to straighten the Nasal Septum in order to increase the airways in my nostrils (especially on the left-hand side which is more often blocked) – but I know this will not treat the allergies. I suspect this also the reason why I don't sleep well.

Please advice,

Thakn you,
Niros
