Reccommendations for Lyme with hives

Posted on August 6, 2015 at 04:31:04 PM by kate
Hello,

You sent me a protocol below in response to my request for help with Lyme and co-infections and prickling, pins and needles in my arm and hand.
I have ordered the pads you suggested and look forward to starting the protocol.

Questions:
When you say 2 pads per day -- is that one of each kind recommended for a total of 2 pads per day? OR is it 2 of each kind for a total of 4 pads per day?

I have been using a combination of Blue, Green, Quick QU-1, and Aqua Cool and they seem to help.

HIVES! In the last month I have developed a new symptom: HIVES. I did one dose of the Salt/C protocol and have had hives almost every day for 3+ weeks since. At first I thought it was a herx from the Salt/C but now I just don't know.
I stopped the Salt/C and I stopped the Doxycycline once the hives started, and yet they have continued for weeks. They start as a small welt and they grow and grow, either large patches of dime to nickel sized welts, or very large irregularly shaped welts, sometimes up to 9 inches in length. They itch terribly and they last for hours. The large ones are often very hot and firm to the touch.
Originally they started on my hands and inner wrists. But now they come up almost anywhere -- my sides, under my breasts, all over my back, armpits, neck, head, inner and back of my thighs, my belly, the very bottom of my tailbone.....
So I have been applying the pads directly to the hives when they begin to break out. This seems to stop the spreading and it also stops me from scratching, After a few hours they are very dark in color, hard and/or gooey, stinky and sticky. I assume this means they are doing something!

What is your opinion about using several different pads a day and in several places on the body other than the feet?

I am desperate for relief and advice, so thank you thank you!

Kate
